Fix connection and sync problems
Most problems come from the toy's Wi-Fi, a wrong key, or the page being open twice. Find your message below and follow the fix.
My toy shows offline
- Check the toy is on and connected to Wi-Fi in the maker's app.
- The Handy only joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Networks with a login page do not work.
- Check the key. Remove the toy in My toys and add it again with a fresh copy.
- Update the toy's firmware in the maker's app.
This control screen is open in another tab
Only one tab can drive your toys. Press Use here to move control to this tab.
Reconnecting to the hub
The connection dropped. The toy stops for safety and ToyController reconnects by itself. Press Start again when it is back.
This link does not work any more
Remote links run out. Ask the toy owner to press Use a phone remote and send a new link.
Waiting for the toy page to link
The toy owner must keep their control screen open. Ask them to open it again.
Motion access was blocked
Your phone asks before a page may read its motion. Allow it and press Start again. If your device has no motion sensor, use Sliders.
The toy is out of sync with the video
Move the sync offset on the Scripts page. Right if the toy is late, left if it is early.
My Bluetooth toy will not pair
Use Chrome or Edge, or Bluefy on iPhone. Close the maker's app, charge the toy and keep it close to the phone.
Questions
Why does my Handy not connect?
Check it is in Wi-Fi mode on a 2.4 GHz network and that the connection key is right. Update the firmware in Handyverse if it still fails.
Why does my toy lag?
Wi-Fi toys go through the maker's cloud, which adds a small delay. A strong Wi-Fi signal near the toy helps. For scripts, use the sync offset.
